Amendment/Insertion in Para 9(1)(IV) of Promotion Policy 2010

Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department has issued notification regarding amendment in Promotion Policy 2010.

The relevant para under amendment is regarding causes/grounds against which a civil servant can be deferred for promotion. It has now been provided that Preliminary Inquiry and Probe in Department or reference in Anti Corruption may not be considered a cause of deferment unless an FIR has been lodges in Anti Corruption against the employee.
