Ban on Dance in Schools

District Education Authority Attock has issued restrictive direction for dance in schools. Details of the said instructions is as under:

It has come to the notice of the undersigned through some national newspapers and social media that some private schools organizing result /  parents day in their schools in which dance is performed by the students especially by girls student on indian songs. this practice is totally unethical and unacceptable. It is against Islamic principles and teachings.

You are directed that in future such practice must not be repeated in Private/Public Schools. All Dy. DEOs are directed to implement the above instructions in true letter and spirit. in case of non-compliance strict disciplinary action will be taken against the defaulters under rules and registration of the concerned schools may be cancelled
