Exemption From Mandatory Training For Promotion

Government of the Punjab, Service & General Administration Department (Regulation Wing) has issued notification regarding exemption from mandatory training course for promotion. Details of the notification are as under:

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 23 of the Punjab Civil Servant Act, 1974 (VIII of 1974), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to to direct that notwithstanding anything contained in any rule made, or any notification or order issued under this Act, a civil servant who has attained the age of 58 years shall be exempted from the mandatory requirement of training for promotion in all the functional units under the Government.
