Promotion in Case of Last Year ACR/PER is Missing
Government of the Punjab, Service & General Administration Department (Regulation Wing) has issued notification regarding promotion of those employees whose ACR/PER of the last year is missing. Details of the notification are as under:
It has been observed that officers are being recommended by the departments for promotion in the absence of last full years report. It may be appreciated that performance of the officer during the last year is very important to assess his suitability for a higher post. Clearance of such an officer for promotion subject to promotion of PER is clear violation of the provision of Promotion Policy, 2010and in future no such case should be recommended by the Board/DPC. The Competent authority has desired that para 9(1) of the Policy may be followed in letter and spirit
